Aidan Moffat has always been a stickler for impressive artwork and this release is no different: with a cover lifted from a well-known adult publication and the notes on the reverse evocative of Dashiell Hammett, Love Detective comes over as a piano driven accompaniment to the inner thoughts of a hardboiled, lovelorn gumshoe...
