WOULD you entrust your staggering album-closing climax to three clod-hopping disco pranksters who, judging by previous output, wouldn't know a good song if it kicked them in the teeth? No, me neither. But Arab Strap have dispensed with conventional musical wisdom by asking Bis - yes, Kandy-Pop-Manda-Rin-die-die-die Bis - to remix Turbulence from The Red Thread and the result is awesome. It's a growling, prowling mesh of synthesised menace, and Marilyn Manson would sell his poxy soul to sound this good. Also cutting and splicing are Jason Famous and the Strap themselves, but - against all odds - Bis leave them standing.
