The opening track from Monday At the Hug And Pint, The Shy Retirer would become an enormous live favourite, ultimately closing Arab Strap's last ever shows when Malcolm and Aidan took to the stage to perform it acoustically. This version is lifted straight from the album, albeit with a liberal sprinkling of censorial pixie dust over the word 'cunted' in order to protect the corruptible ears of the Great British public.

In addition to the edit of The Shy Retirer, the EP is fleshed out by 5 additional tracks including cover versions of AC/DC's You Shook Me All Night Long and Whitesnake's Why Can't This Be Love?
