 Signing to Chemikal Underground in 2003, Mother And The Addicts are the incarnation of one Sam Smith (born in Manchester, educated in Brighton and now relocated to Glasgow). Very much the product of one man's fevered imagination, 'Mother And The Addicts' WAS Sam Smith until he pulled a band together from friends of friends in Glasgow and vanished into Chem19 to record what can only be described as their 'breathless' debut: Take The Lovers Home Tonight.
