With Zoey Van Goey's typically whip-smart take on the ebullient pop song "You Told The Drunks..." recalls the heightened surge of adrenaline brought about by the threat of violence and nocturnal pursuits across Glasgow's West to East Ends. The GRNR remix adds an even more unhinged dash of musical invention to the proceedings and clearly demonstrates Zoey Van Goey's intelligently playful grip on what makes a great pop song.
